Adding and Linking Regions and Districts

This article will walk customer users through the process of adding Districts and Regions, as well as show how to link Districts to Regions.

(NOTE: If you do not see the ability to add Districts or Regions, or you cannot access the District and Region tables, you will need to update your permissions. Please reach out to your account administrator to update your permissions. The following article will show you how to update permissions - User Roles and Permissions).

Adding Regions

Step 1 - After logging into your user account, navigate to the Locations module by clicking on 'Locations' tab in the left menu bar.

Step 2 - Now that you have navigated to the Locations module, click on the Regions tab at the top of the page.

  • This will show you a list of all of your current Regions.

  • You can click on any of the Regions to edit the Region Name.

Step 3 - To Add a new Region:

  • Click on the "+ Add New" button.

    • A window will pop out from the right hand side of the page.

  • Type in what you would like to name the new Region

  • Click save, and the new Region will be added.

Adding Districts

Step 1 - From the Locations module, click on the District tab at the top of the page.

  • This will show you a list of all of your current Districts.

  • You can click on any of the Regions to edit the Region Name.

Step 2 - To Add a new District:

  • Click on the "+ Add New" button.

    • A window will pop out from the right hand side of the page.

  • Type in what you would like to name the new District.

  • Click save, and the new District will be added

Linking Regions and Districts

Step 1 - To link your Regions and Districts together, you will click on the Regions - Districts tab at the top of the Locations Module.

Step 2 - From the Regions - Districts page, you can see all of the currently created Regions - District relationships.

  • To Edit an already created Regions - Disctricts relationship

    • Click on the Region ID you'd like to edit. (A window will pop up from the right hand side of the page).

    • Click the edit button at the top of the pop out window

    • Make desired changed, and click the save button

  • To Add a new Regions - District relationship

    • Click the '+ Add New' button at the top of the page

    • Choose the desired Region from the Region drop down menu

    • Choose the Districts to link to the selected Region

    • Click Save
