The On Hold setting allows customer users to move a location from Active status to On Hold status, which prevents any work orders from being created for that location without losing any PM set up or trade assignment set up. This also allows customers to plan a new store opening by being able to set up a new location with active PMs and trade assignment, and not risk work orders being created before the store open date.

Prerequisites

In order to move a location to On Hold, your job title will have to have the Edit Locations Role (permissions). If you do not have these permissions, and you believe you should, please reach out to your Account Administrator or your Customer Experience Manager.

To move a location to On Hold, follow the steps outlined below

1) Navigate to the Location Details

The first step is to navigate to the Locations Module by clicking on Locations in the left menu bar. Once you have clicked on the Locations button, you will be taken to the Location module. From here, click on the Location that you wish to set On Hold.

2) Set Location to On Hold

Once you are on the Locations Details page, you will see the On Hold button on the left side of the details page about half way down the page.

Click on the On Hold button, and a pop up window will appear. Choose the Reason for the On Hold change, and the Location Reactive Date, and click Confirm.

Once confirmed, the location will move to On Hold.
