Add Comments using Bulk Edit (Customer)

This article will help you add comments using the bulk edit function. This feature is available to customer users on the work order, proposal, and invoice modules.

Note: You can follow the same steps to edit proposals or invoices in bulk.

  • After logging into your Ecotrak account, you will land on the main dashboard page. From here, locate and click on the Work Orders tab found in the left menu bar.

  • Once you have clicked on the Work Orders tab, you will be transferred to the Work Orders module where you will be able to view all work orders in your account.

  • You can search for the work orders by either:

    • Scroll through your list of work orders until you come upon the work orders you are looking for.

    • Search the work order by typing the work order ID numbers in the search bar and clicking the 'Search' button.

  • When you have selected the work orders that you want to edit in bulk, you tick the box in the first column. This should make the Bulk Edit button clickable.

  • Click on the Bulk Edit button to pull up the Bulk Edit Work Orders window at the left side of the page.

  • The Bulk Edit Work Orders window will show the work orders that you have selected. You will need to tick the box that says Add Comments. And once you tick the Add Comments box, the Add Comment field will be available for you to type in your comments.

  • After typing in your comments, click on the user notification drop-down above the add comments box to select the users that you want to notified and then hit the Save button to apply the changes.

  • A progress bar and then the summary of the comments that you have added will show up after you hit the Save button.

  • Lastly, click the Done button to get back to your work orders list.
