Navigating Assets Mobile

Overview:
This support article will help guide you through how to navigate the Asset module on the Ecotrak mobile app.

*If you have not downloaded the new Ecotrak mobile app yet, you can do so on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store on your mobile device.

Step One:

When you open the Ecotrak app, you will be navigated to the dashboard of the mobile app. On the dashboard you will see the different modules you can select from. To manage your assets you will select on the Asset icon and this will take you to your Asset Module.

Step Two:

After you have selected the Asset icon on the dashboard, you will be navigated to the Asset module. At the top of the Asset module, you will see a search bar. This search bar can be used to search for any Asset ID number in your account. Next, to the right of the search bar at the top right corner is a blue "plus" button. This button is used if you need to add a new asset. When you click on the blue plus button it will navigate you to a screen to fill out the info for adding a new asset. Once you have entered the info to add a new asset, you can click save and it will create the new asset.

Step Three:

Beneath the search bar, you will see a location tab. If you select this tab, it will give you the ability to specify a location/ locations that you would like to specifically view Invoices for. Once you have selected the locations you wish to see Invoices for, click on the blue "select" button at the bottom of the page to save this filters.

Step Four:

Beneath the location filter tab, you will see that there is as area tab which will allow you to select the area to view assets that are within that area.

Step Five:

To select an Asset to view, you will see a list view of all Asset based on the filter settings that you have selected on this module(Note, if you did not make any filter adjustments then you will be seeing ALL Assets for the locations that you are assigned to). Once you have found the Asset that you are looking for, you can tap on the Asset to view the details page of the Asset. You can manage and update the Asset from the Asset details page.

Step Six:

On the Asset details page, you will see that you can review the details of the Asset as you scroll down the Asset details page.

Step Seven:

At the tope of the Asset details page, you will see that you can view the service history on the asset by clicking on the "service history" tab. Next to the service history tab, you can add an attachment by clicking on the attachments tab. Next, If you need to leave a comment on the Asset, you can click on the comments tab at the top of the Asset details page to add a comment.

Step Eight:

Towards the top of the top of the Asset details page you will see four circular buttons. The first button is the "place service request" button which will allow you to create a new service request for the asset that you are viewing once you select that button. Next, if you need to replace the asset you can click on "replace" button. This will allow you to enter in a new asset to replace the current asset with. Next, you will see the "Copy" button, which will allow you to copy the asset id you wish to create a copied asset of the one that you are viewing. Lastly, there is a "Flag" button which will allow you to add flags to the asset when you select it.

Step Nine:

If you need to edit the asset that you are viewing, you will see an edit button at the top right corner of the asset details page. The edit button looks like a pencil. When you select this all the info on the asset will become adjustable and once you have made the edits that you need to make you can scroll to the bottom and click save to save the changes you have made.
