Add Location to Existing PM
Step 1
From the dashboard of your Ecotrak account, select the Preventive Maintenance module on the left-hand side of your screen to navigate to the PM module.

Once you have navigated to the PM module, select the existing PM from the list that needs a location update.
Step 3
Once you have selected an existing PM, you will be routed to the Details/Locations/Attachments/Activity page, where you will need to click on the Locations tab.
Step 4
On the PM's Locations tab, click the "+ Add New Location" button, which will display a pop-up on the right side showing you more details. To edit information such as the Service Provider, Priority, as well as the NTE (Not to Exceed) amount for the PM, click the edit button on the top right.
*NOTE: If no Service provider is selected, the PM will send to the rank 1 vendor for the trade.
Step 5
Once you have filled out the info covered in the previous step, proceed to the Service Frequency details.
There are two options: Service by Month or Service by Day.
If you select Service By Month, you will select the months of service that you would like this PM to generate maintenance work orders for the PM you are creating. You will then select the day of the month to send out the PM.
Next, if you choose Service by Day, then you will type in the days between the services. For example, if you type in 60 days, then the PM will generate a maintenance work order every 60 days for this PM.
Once you have chosen which service frequency you will use, you will type in how many days in advance you would like the PM to generate maintenance work orders, and choose the starting date (the day the PM goes "live"). Once you enter this info, the system will auto display when the next service date will be (the next day, the PM will generate a work order).
Step 6
Once you have filled out all the info for the PM you are building, click "Save" at the bottom right corner of your screen to save and add the new location to the PM.
Remove Location from Existing PM
Step 1
Follow steps 1-3 in adding a location to the existing PM.
Step 2
On the Locations tab, select the location that you need to remove from the existing PM. This will display the right sidebar, enabling you to edit the location.
Step 3
Once the location details are displayed on the right, click the edit button to make changes.
Step 4
Lastly, click on the "Delete" button at the bottom of the pop-up window and confirm the deletion. Once confirmed, a notification for a successful deletion of the location from the PM will be displayed in the lower-right corner of the page.
