Update User Notification Settings (for Customer)

This article will walk you through how to update User Notification Settings. If you are a Service Provider User, please use the following article Update User Notification Settings (for Service Providers).

(NOTE: If at any point through this walkthrough you do not have access to what is shown in the steps below, it is likely your job title does not have the required permission access tor editing notifications.

1. After logging into Ecotrak, navigate to the Configuration tab, then select the Users module from the left-hand menu bar.

2. Now that you have navigated to the Users module, select the Notifications tab at the top of the page.

3. After clicking on the Notifications tab, you will see a list of the job titles on the left hand side, and you will see the currently selected notification settings on the right hand side.

The Notification settings are separated into nine sections:

  • Work Order Changes

  • Inventory

  • Survey

  • RFP (Request for pricing)

  • New Work Order

  • Invoice

  • Proposal

  • User

  • Service provider

The notification settings are divided into three options:

  • Email: Receive Email Notifications

  • Push: Receive Mobile Notifications

  • Text: Receive Text Notifications

4. To edit a Job Title's Notification Settings:

  1. Click on the job title you'd wish to edit

  2. Click on the Edit button on the right side of the page

  3. Check/uncheck the notifications of your preference

5. After selecting your preferred notifications, click Save at the bottom right of your screen to update your notification settings.
