This article will walk you through how to update activate the Text Message Notifications (L1-Emergency WOs, L1 Emergency After Hours, Direct Comment) for Service Providers.
(NOTE: If at any point through this walkthrough you do not have access to what is shown in the steps below, it is likely your job title does not have the required permission access tor editing notifications. For information on updating your permissions, please contact your Ecotrak account admin and review the following article User Roles and Permissions)
Step 1.
Submit a request to Ecotrak support ([email protected]) to activate the text message notifications.
Step 2.
After logging into Ecotrak, navigate through the Configuration tab and then User Management module.
Step 3.
In the User Management module, go to the Notifications tab to display all the notification settings.
Step 4.
Select the job title at the left side of the page to display the current notification settings that are activated.
Step 5.
Click the Pencil icon at the upper-right part of the page to go into Edit mode and tick the boxes under Text to activate the text messaging notification for the specific items. Please note that the text messaging notification is available for L1-Emergency WOs, L1 Emergency After Hours, and Direct Comments.
Step 6.
Once the notification settings have been confirmed, click the Save button to apply the changes.
