This article will walk you through how to use the Comments feature to communicate with your Service Providers or Internal Team in the Techtrak Mobile application. Comments can be left on Work Orders, Proposals, Invoices, and RFPs. For this tutorial, we will walk you through how to leave a comment on a Work Order, but know that it is the same process for Proposals, Invoices, and RFPs.
Step 1: The first step will be to log into your account. Once logged in, you will land on this home screen.
Step 2: Swipe up on the "Work Orders" pane at the bottom of the screen to view your work orders.
Step 3: From the "Work Orders" screen, you will want to navigate to the work order that you would like to add a Comment to by either searching for the Work Order ID, using the filters to pinpoint the Work Order, or scrolling through the list of work orders.
Step 4: Once you locate the Work Order you're searching for, tap the Work Order. This will open the Work Order details. From here, you’ll want to tap on the "Comments" button found at the top right of the screen.
Step 5: Now in the Comments tab, you will have the ability to add a comment to this Work Order. If you would like to notify certain Users or Customers, click on “Add People to Notify”. Keep in mind, all comments are public to all users (Customer and SP) who have viewership of this work order.
Step 6: If you do choose to select "Add people to Notify", you will be prompted with a window allowing you to search your desired User and/or Customer recipient(s). Once you have them selected, click "Add" at the bottom.
Step 7: If you have added recipients to your Comment, you will see the names of those selected at the bottom of the screen. From here, if you are satisfied with your comment and ready to send it, click on the paper airplane icon.
Step 8: Upon clicking the paper airplane icon, you will see your newly submitted Comment populate within the Comments section.
