🔐 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup Guide for Red Lobster Service Providers

As required by Red Lobster, all Service Providers must use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when accessing Ecotrak. MFA provides an extra layer of security by requiring a code from a mobile authenticator app in addition to your password.

📱 Step 1: Install an Authenticator App

If you do not already have an authenticator app on your phone, download one of the following free and trusted apps:

  • Google Authenticator (iOS & Android)

  • Microsoft Authenticator (iOS & Android)

  • Authy by Twilio (iOS & Android, allows backups & multi-device use)

  • LastPass Authenticator (iOS & Android)

  • Duo Mobile (iOS & Android)

👉 Any of these apps will work, but we recommend Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator for simplicity.

📷 Step 2: Scan the QR Code

  1. Log into Ecotrak with your username and password.

  2. On the setup screen, you will see a QR code like the one below:
    “Scan this QR code with your app”

  3. Open your authenticator app and select Add Account or Scan QR Code.

  4. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code shown on the screen.

🔑 Step 3: Enter Your Verification Code

  1. Your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code.

  2. Enter this code into the Ecotrak login prompt.

Click Setup.

✅ Completion

  • Once verified, your authenticator app is now linked to your Ecotrak account.

  • Going forward, each time you log in, you will open your authenticator app and enter the new code it generates.

⚠️ Important: Each code refreshes every 30 seconds. Always use the most recent code displayed.


💡 Support Tips

  • If you get a new phone, you will need to re-set up MFA. Contact Ecotrak Support for assistance.

  • If you accidentally delete your authenticator app, contact support to reset MFA on your account.
